1000
C4 had a project to do at school. He procrastinated starting it for a long time. While our ENTIRE family had the flu (LittleE had both flu and RSV) and were quarantined for two full weeks, I thought it was a perfect time to work on it. You see, little boys feel better WAY before they are better. Both boys had 105 fever for a couple days and were miserable, so once it dropped down to 101, they felt great and were bouncing off the walls. We played, did puzzles, legos and everything else. I finally called his teacher and begged for school work. This is the project she sent home...to START on. Well, once he got started, he LOVED it and finished in in about 4 hours over a 2 day period. On a long roll of addition tape, he wrote from 1 to 1000. He did it perfectly~except at first, he wrote his 2's backwards occasionally. Once he wrote his 200's, he had fixed his problem. He was excited because it went all the way through the house.

that was the project?
for a child that's a genius :)
I got to see some of his work up close today --- helping with his homework. Way to go Charlie!!
Love that project idea. He's so cute.
what a funny project! it seems like a lot of work for a kid, but clearly he was up to the task.
strong work.
Enjoyed your blog - just stopped in because someone said you were in Batesville, AR. I stopped in there and had some great Mexican food and was totally surprised (being from TX). I had a hard time finding MX food in Little Rock. The restaurant was in a HOTEL LOBBY! Fancy that.
You are a great photographer! :)
Found your blog while looking at pictures of baby rooms throught Google Images, which by the way your daughter's room is beautiful. We are from Austin, AR and thought it was so funny that we found your blog...my husband of course noticed the razorback shirt your husband had on and your daughters shirt. We have no kids now, but planning on starting this summer...I LOVE your pictures!
